Semester One Wrap-Up 2019

What a great start to 2019! Semester One was a blast, and we had a lot going on!

Our semester started off with our Annual Karaoke and Drinks Night, collaborating with UTS Backstage, C.R.A.P., and Out 2 Party. The event was an instant hit, with our members rocking out to the latest hits, as well as some good ol’ karaoke classics.

Open Mic Night came round and we were stoked by how much talent our MuscUTS members have! It was definitely a successful night and we had so much fun watching our performers sing/play/dance/recite slam poetry.

We had our first major collaboration with UTSoC, UTS Backstage and UTS Reverb, with an End of Semester Party “Rumble In The Jungle”, which was an absolute blast!

Throughout the semester, we also were given the opportunity to showcase and perform at UTS events such as UTS Biggest Morning Tea and the ProgSoc Anniversary Dinner.

Finally, our End of Semester Showcase, “The Butterfly Effect” was the perfect event to truly wrap up the semester, with all four of our ensembles showcasing the repertoire they have been learning this semester. It was a spectacular night and we would like to thank everyone involved and who came to support our performers.

On behalf of the MuscUTS Executive Team, we’d like to thank all of our members for being involved and making these events possible. We thank you for your support and can’t wait for next semester! Also thank you to all the societies we have had the pleasure of working with, we wish for bigger and better collaborations with you all in the near future!

That’s a wrap for Semester One!
