MuscUTS at O'day

Orientation day was the start of the year for us at MuscUTS as we got to see the new AND familiar faces come by our stall!

Our stall was in a prime position, right near the ice-cream and stage. We had our cardboard instruments out and were ready to start handing our our baked goodies! Our very own president manned the stall with other executive members, working hard to advertise our club and our upcoming events.

At 2:20PM, our MuscUTS Jazz band performed at the UTS Concourse, playing some classics with little to no practice. They did such a great job that for the first time ever, our Jazz Band had to hold auditions due to overwhelming interest! You can see a video of their performance on our facebook page.

Overall, the day was a success. We had over 130 expressions of interest and 70 sign ups with the new system!

With orientation over and classes starting we're getting ready for the rest of the year. Our first social event ever for the year is our upcoming Karaoke Night that are hosting alongside the UTS Queer Collective, UTS Indigenous Collective and the UTS Women's Collective.

Click here to view the facebook event! We have free pizza, drinks, entry to our lucky draw to win discounted movie tickets or a $50 Westfield voucher all for just a GOLD COIN!

We hope to get to know you all throughout the year!
